What's DMAC?
N, N-dimethylacetamide, abbreviated as DMAC or DMA. A commonly used aprotic polar solvent which can be used in many applications. We hereby list some for your reference：
1、DMAC can dissolve many kinds of compounds, and can be completely miscible with water, ether, ketone, ester, etc. It has the characteristics of high thermal stability, not easy to be hydrolyzed, low corrosivity, low toxicity.
2、DMAC has good dissolving power for various resins, especially polyurethane resins and polyimide resins. It is mainly used as a solvent for heat-resistant synthetic fibers, plastic films, coatings, pharmaceuticals, and acrylonitrile spinning.
In China domestic market, DMAC mainly used for spinning synthetic polymer fibers and other organic synthetic excellent polar solvents. While in other countries, DMAC mostly used as a kind of Electronic Chemicals such as polyimide film production, soluble polyimide, polyimide (aluminum) film, soluble polyimide molding powder, etc .
